St.Joseph's convent,Thrissur is the first convent founded by CSST's in 1922, outside the city of Ernakulam, 19 years after the demise of our Holy Foundress Mother Teresa of St.Rose of Lima. Enlightened by the spirit of charism of our Foundress, tempered by the zeal for the service, CSSTl aid the foundation stone for the LP section in the same year. The Higher Secondary section has started in the year 2000. The school has grown into a renowned institution to empower the girl child to embrace learning to own a bright future.

The aim of CSST is to impart to the young girls,sound knowledge blended with Christian values and thereby produce intellectually competent, morally upright,spiritually inspired and patriotic women for the service of our country.

The students are given umpteen opportunities to experience, explore and excel so that they are rightly related to people, things and ideas. The school aspires to awaken the intelligence, curiosity,self respect and dignity in them to discover excitement in learning without loosing the networks of mercy.
